Description
Rio Low Table by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. Originally designed in 1962, a larger version was then created in 1967 for the Japanese Embassy in Paris. The unusual beauty and functionality of this piece make it an honest piece of art. The six segments, made in solid wood, each with a different radius, offset from each other, create a jagged outer edge, while the hole in the centre evokes a centre of gravity. Currently one size available in Natural or Black Stained Oak. The Natural Oak table has top options of Vienna Straw or Carrara Marble whilst the Black Stained Oak is available only in Marquina Marble Top – Please contact the store for more info.
