Description
Designed in 1953, as Prouvé was developing construction principles for various models, this desk exhibits elegantly splayed legs in metal – reminiscent of both an architect’s drwaing board and a pair of compasses, or ‘le compas’ in French. The oiled solid wood tops and choice of colours for the frame make this desk particularly suitable for the contemporary home office.
